Seriously, this interview with Danish metalheads Förtress came out great! May be you’ve heard of the band from Vice’s Noisey, who also featured them, but we find about this kickass band through the page of snowboarder Halldór Helgason. Förtress’ music is energetic and feisty with a hilarious comedy zest. It’s just so great to see musicians that are having honest fun on the stage (and behind it), instead of taking themselves too seriously. Should I summarize it in few words? Modern twist on the groovy metal at it’s finest.
