Sunday Brunch is over. Its Tiki Disco party time @ Robertas

Who needs a Sunday Brunch when its Summer?

I’ve never found the combination of eggs + champagne very tasteful anyway.

And I have a better proposition.

What about waking up, may be still with a hangover and headache from the last night and just keep partying? Till 10 pm and then, may be Sway?

Tiki Disco rocks out New York for a second year, this time taking place in the spacious backyard of Robertas in Bushwick. Hip place, beautiful crowd, sun, cheap beer (3$ Buds, 3$ Bud Light Draft, 7$ Modelo Tall Boys)… oh yeah… and they have my favourite Old Overhold Rye for 5$ for a shot or 7$ for a decent pour on the rocks (which I recommend).

On the vinyls  Eli Escobar, Lloydski, and Andy Pry are spinning a nice blend of house, dance, disco and 80s making you groove on the packed dancefloor.

You can smoke cigs or whatever you want there so that’s a nice perk.

Remark: Go around 3 pm at latest, cause the lines get freaking long later. Also once you go out you can’t go in again.

The pizza you can buy if you’re hungry, provided by Robertas of course, is kind of small for the price (7$ for Margarita, 10$ for Mushroom, 11$ for Sopressata), but eh… its oven-baked and delicious!!! Summer time & the living is easy… so next time skip the pretencious brunch and the Sunday gossip and go out to create some new memories and meet some lovely people. Oh, yes beautiful crowd!!! Did I mentioned that already.
