I was just wondering which song to publish at the Song of The Night rubric, when I received an email from Ingrid Chavez – one half of Black Eskimo, who won our Band of The Week contest couple weeks ago. The song “By the water” from her solo album “A flutter and some words” definitely deserves attention – the songwriting is tight, I love the 90s trip-hop influence and the video is colorful and cozy as a warm Autumn day.
