Remembering David Bowie in One Song

“The David Bowie songs I’ve played on repeat through my life varied, I was also finding new songs, new albums, new b-sides… It’s very hard to choose a favorite David Bowie song, but I’m especially fond of “Five Years”. I mean – what a song! I even started chapter 28 of my first novel “С@МОТ@” with it. Rest in piece David, back to the stars that brought you to us.”

“David Bowie didn’t just define one generation he defined several, he’s a man who changed the overall direction of music and fashion as often as his outfit, and he is certainly someone who appreciates the art of the costume change. 51 years of musical and social innovation cannot be summed up in several sentences, but Bowie embodied everything that the word “icon” means and will no doubt remain one of the most listened to artists on Earth for years to come. I chose “Let’s Dance” because I got to believe The Starman would rather have a party than a wake.”
