Palmiro Dechevski solo exhibition in Plovdiv for six years HebrosArt Gallery

Today I had the pleasure to go to the opening of the new solo exhibition of my uncle Palmiro Dechevski, celebrating the 6th birthday of Plovdiv Gallery HebrosArt. Palmiro graduated in Krakow with majors in scenograrhy and graphics. He mixes in an elegant, yet powerful way the abstract, the figurative and the expressionist. In his current exhibition named “Unexpected” we can see 19 paintings made from different periods and different technics. Oil on canvas, liquid watercolor on paper and much more. Inspired by landscapes, traditional Bulgarian architecture, the Rhodope mountains, feelings, impressions and expressions his works are a colorful and very personal journey in the deep and sincere parts of the artist’s soul. “Unexpected” will be shown for a month on adress “San Stefano” 54, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Among the guests were notable local artists such as Tsvetana Gumelia, Anastas Konstantinov and many more as well as Miss “Bulgarka in USA” Nevena Chalova.

Happy b-day HebrosArt! Now some photos from the opening:
