The poetry is for the lazy people.
You put less effort in it than in prose.
Being more pretentious,
trying to capture more in less words.
Yes, it may be beautiful,
but it rarely tells a story.
A good story,
a bad story
or an average story.
It basically wraps feelings in pretty verses.
I’m a prose girl writing poetry.
I’m not lazy but I’m a bit tired.
I’m living in New York.
And my poetry sucks.

I think poetry sometimes tells more than any prose. Its just harder to write a good poetry. yet, I like the good poetry better then all the prose.
