Lydia Lunch – Queen of Siam

Definitely Lydia Lunch’s best and most listenable work “Queen of Siam”, also her debut solo record, kicks straight in the balls. Queer lolita vocals, jazz, cabaret, avant-garde, depraved lyrics, dirty 80s guitars and sax, tension and tease… you got it all.

How would I describe it with one word? BADASS.

Here is my personal TOP 3 from this cult jewel. However, I recommend to enjoy it best in its full entirety:

3: “Lady Scarface”

2: “Spooky”
