The crowd was eagerly awaiting KMFDM all night, and upon their entry to the stage erupted in cheers. Starting the sold out show off with ‘DIY’, ‘Freak Flag’ and ‘Hell Yeah’ set the mood for a politically charged set that rocked Irving Plaza.
While charming the photographers and enthusiastic crowd, front-woman Lucia displayed both her stunning range of vocals and entrancing dance moves in a warrior queen/fetish style geometric corset top. Sascha delivered the performance fans were hoping for in signature sunglasses and energy, smoking a cigarette coyly every few songs. An enthusiastic new guitarist added extra visual appeal, strutting along the stage in fishnets while shredding along to the screams of various enamored folks.
