KCA’s Black Ball hosted by Alicia Keys raises money to fight AIDS

Keep a Child Alive’s (KCA) Black Ball, an event raising funds for children and and families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India, will take place on Thursday, November 7th at Hammerstein Ballroom. This is KCA’s 10th anniversary so the party will be bigger than ever and hosted by KCA’s co-founder Alicia Keys, featuring performances by Carole King, Kathleen Battle, Laura Mvula, Roy Ayers and more to be announced.

Nic Taylor, a freelance Broadcaster with many years of experience on the red carpet provided a short audio interview with Keys about the new movie she produced – “The inevitable defeat of Mister and Pete” and how important it’s to keep focused on the problems of the future generations. The movie also stars Jennifer Hudson as Gloria.
