Gemini Wired – What Now

Boston-based RnB artist Gemini Wired just released the video for her socially engaged song “What Now” criticizing bullying, which is a big problem all over the States.

“The message behind the video is to encourage everyone to go for whatever you believe in no matter how many times others may put you down or try to get in your way.” – the artist explains, adding that she have been bullied in the past – “I’ve always been an advocate even as a kid. Bullying hurts, and it can make you severely depressed. Nobody deserves to be made fun of, picked on, or beat up because of who they are. I know exactly how much more it can hurt mentally than it can physically at times. My video also represents the consequences for people hurting others and how it always goes back to karma. I want my “What Now” song & video to inspire as many people as possible. I want them to know people like myself and all these organizations have their backs.” Gemini adds.

Raised by a single mother in Middleboro Massachusetts at a young age Gemini yearned for the limelight, which led to her mom putting her in dance classes and any upcoming talent shows. Inspired by Spice Girls, Aaliyah and Missy Elliott the young artist started her own girl group.

She took her focus out of music for a while to attend Northeastern University but later on got back to it knowing that pop music is the direction for her. She chose her stage name Gemini Wired because she’s actually born in June, but the term being also representative of having many sides. She also added the second part to the stage name “Wired”, representing high energy and her crazy side.
