Samantha

I met Samantha on their show at Brooklyn’s Cameo Gallery, where I ended up because I was way too late for the other show I planned to attend. However, these guys are really catchy. Punk rock to the bone, the frontman Mike’s voice reminds the energy of Tim Armstrong from Rancid, the guitars are stripped-down and energetic as they should be, the rhythm is just right.

I really like Samantha. And I know I had to do this post much earlier, but better late than never right, Mike?

Their first EP “Pussyfight” is pretty cool, but “Threat level pink” – their debut full album – is even better. “Two lights”, “Dark matter”, “Up to something” are my favorites.
