The second Bulgarian band that I’m presenting in my blog are the punks Bright Sight with their debut album Ехо на душите ни (“Echo of our souls” on English). The album is fresh, with rough punk-rock guitars and fast drums, and I’m finding it similar to some 90’s NOFX and Pennywise stuff while the cholaral singings remind me of oldschool hardcore-punk. “””Echo of our souls”” appeared two years after we came together and through it we transmit our aspirations, ambitions and eyesights for the world and the people around us.” says Daniel, guitar and vocals in Bright Sight. The band also consists of Stanko, main vocals & bass, Angel, guitar & vocals and Yassen – drums & back vocals, Our lyrics are entirely in Bulgarian, cause we wanted to be easier to understand and closer to the people in our country, Daniel adds.

Well I don’t know if they’re gonna sound closer to you but for sure you can enjoy how unique the punk-rock sounds on Bulgarian.

And here is the video for “Изкуствен свят” (“Fake world”) , shooted on a rooftop in Sofia’s neighbourhood Krasna Polyana, which shows a very good view on Sofia and some cult persons for the underground scene there including Shuta from Vendetta. The video is directed by Georgi Nikolov.
